Jim has never had to avoid anyone that he has dealt with since the early 1950s due to his integrity. He started selling used trailers on a part time basis in the early 1950s and then new Ford vehicles from 1958-1970, and new trailers part-time from 1974 and full-time since the late 1990s, so he has done all types of business in an honest and ethical way. He is still operating a full-time NASCAR Canada series race team with Curb Records, Darkhorse Trailers and Strodes sponsorship, and often runs a second car, and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. He still tries to find time to fly his Cessna 172 when he can, which is unfortunately not often. When you deal with the dealership, you deal with Jim himself.
